This past Saturday was Natalie's third birthday bash. Per her request we did a Disney Princess theme. A ton of fun was had by all, and I am very happy with how it turned out.
Here is a shot of the decorated mantle. I used Disney Princess figures that Natalie already had and interspersed them with roses I purchased at Costco. I used clear votive holders to hold the single stems and made a small bouquet for the middle. Read on for info on the garland.
The birthday girl ready to devour her Sleeping Beauty cake (which I cannot take credit for-purchased at my local grocery store).
The dessert bar featuring white chocolate dipped strawberries, flower cookies, butterscotch clusters, meringues, M&M's and the Sleeping Beauty cake.
Remember this print? I thought it would be fitting for the dessert buffet! I also put the remainder of her princess figures here, to watch over the strawberries.
Here I made what I call "Streamer Mobiles", using embroidery hoops, more Creative Memories paper and-you guessed it-streamers. I hung these in various spots around the room.

Here is another spot I put up a home-made garland in which I used Creative Memories paper (which was already cut in the triangle shape-super handy!) and pink scrapbooking brads bought at Target.
I caught my hubby playing dress-up with the girls. He was pretty embarrassed when I discovered him and took the photo!

I love how you totally styled this up - especially the mantle, and the print at the table. Plus, I think you and your husband look quite alike - I think that is often the way that couples look similar!
